Product Description
The Elegante River Table is a premium statement piece — two solid hardwood slabs, each with live natural edges, joined by a continuous translucent resin river that runs the entire length of the table. The resin is the defining feature: it replicates a natural river flowing through solid wood, creating a piece that is simultaneously functional furniture and sculptural art.
The resin channel is not simply a fill — it is the structural and aesthetic centrepiece of the table. Running the entire length between the two hardwood slabs, the translucent resin creates the illusion of a river flowing through living wood. Each table's river is completely unique: the natural profile of the slab edges means the channel varies in width and character throughout its length — no two rivers are ever the same.
The standard finish is clear/translucent, allowing the grain and colour of the timber to show beneath the resin. On request, grey, black, or custom colours are available for individual orders — custom colour resin incurs an additional cost and extends lead time as each table is handcrafted to specification.

The Elegante River Table is available in two premium hardwood species. The top-view images below show the natural resin channel running through the centre of each timber — every table's river profile is entirely unique.
Technical Dimensions
Available in nine lengths from 1600 mm to 3200 mm. Width varies naturally with each slab — approximately 900 - 1000 mm. All tables are 750 mm in height using the same steel leg frames as the 2-Slab range.

A–B Distance & Seating
The A–B distance is the clear internal measurement between the two leg frames. Allow approximately 600 mm per person when planning your seating layout.

The A–B distance is the clear internal gap between the inside faces of the two leg frames, measured along the table length.
As a guide, allow 600 mm per person along each side. Leg frames are positioned with an equal setback from each end of the tabletop.

Care & Maintenance
The Elegante River Table combines solid hardwood and cured resin — both durable surfaces that reward proper care. The Natural Osmo Oil finish protects both elements equally.
Maintain indoor relative humidity of 40 - 60% where possible. Avoid placing near radiators, air conditioning units, or in direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Excessive UV exposure can cause resin discolouration over time — especially relevant for clear/translucent finishes.

Every Elegante River Table uses FSC-certified hardwoods from responsibly managed forests. Low-VOC finishing products protect both timber and indoor air quality. Built to be passed down, not replaced.
