The Elegante collection features premium handcrafted dining and statement tables made from two solid hardwood slabs joined to create a refined natural centrepiece. Each table celebrates the organic grain, texture, and character of genuine timber — combining contemporary craftsmanship with long-term durability.

Each timber species brings its own colour palette, grain character and natural beauty to the Elegante table. All are sustainably sourced, FSC-certified hardwoods. The top views below show the natural slab profiles as they arrive — no two pieces alike.
Technical Dimensions
All Elegante 2-slab tables are 750 mm in height and 900 - 1100 mm wide (depending on slab availability). Lengths run from 1600 mm to 4200 mm in 200 mm increments across all three timber species.

A–B Distance & Seating
The A–B distance is the clear internal measurement between the two leg frames — the usable under-table space that determines how many seats can comfortably fit along each side. Use the table below alongside the diagram to plan your seating layout before ordering.

The A–B distance is the clear internal gap between the inside faces of the two leg frames, measured along the length of the table.
This measurement tells you exactly how much legroom and seating space sits between the legs. As a general guide, allow 600 mm per person along each side when planning your seating layout.
Leg frames are always positioned with an equal setback from each end of the tabletop.
A–B = Clear internal leg spacing
On tables 3200 mm (3.2 m) and longer, the leg frames are positioned further apart, leaving enough clearance for seats to be placed at the outside ends of each leg frame as well as between them. This means you can seat additional guests at the ends of the table beyond the legs — significantly increasing seating capacity compared to shorter tables.
When planning your seating for a 3.2 m+ table, allow for end seats positioned outside the legs on each side in addition to the standard between-leg seating shown by the A–B distance above.

The Elegante range is held in stock across all three species at our Harrogate warehouse. For sizes not currently held, tables are crafted to order from Italy.

Care & Maintenance
Solid hardwood is a living material. Proper care will maintain the beauty and structural integrity of your Elegante table for generations.
Maintain indoor relative humidity of 40 - 60%. Avoid placing the table near radiators, air conditioning units, or in direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Solid timber is sensitive to extreme or rapid changes in environmental conditions. Colour changes over time with UV exposure are a natural characteristic of solid hardwood, not a defect.

Every Elegante table uses FSC-certified hardwoods from responsibly managed forests. Low-VOC finishing products protect both the timber and indoor air quality. Our long-life construction philosophy means these tables are built to be passed down, not replaced.
